Approved Inshore Vessel Monitoring System (I-VMS) Installer
JCF Marine are an approved installer of I-VMS trackers on fishing vessels for CLS UK.
From 12th May 2025 the UK Government issued an update to licence conditions for any English licensed under-12m vessel undertaking any trip to sea. Now required to use of an MMO type-approved I-VMS device which is similar to the VMS tracking devices used by fishing vessels of 12 metres and greater and will help:
– improve the management and sustainability of our marine environment
– ensure proper fishing practices
– prevent illegal fishing
– help protect and enhance the livelihoods of fishers
